The SVDP provides assistance to those in the community in need by helping with rent and utility payments, store vouchers, furniture, gift cards, and sometimes budget planning – any form of help that alleviates suffering or deprivation and promotes human dignity. Our conference meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month (6:30-8 pm). Anyone over the age of 18 years is welcome. Vincentian members provide home visits to gather information for specific requests, which are then discussed at meetings. Some training (about 6 hours) may be required.
