Whether you’re curious about Catholicism, seeking to join the Church, or wanting to deepen your faith, our Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) program is for you!

What is OCIA?

OCIA is a welcoming, flexible program designed to help you explore the Catholic faith, grow closer to God, and discern your path in the Church. Founded by Jesus Christ, the Catholic Church offers the
fullness of salvation and a vibrant community for living out your faith.

Who is OCIA for?

Unbaptized adults or teens interested in becoming Catholic.

Baptized Christians from other traditions seeking to join the Catholic Church.

Baptized Catholics looking to complete their initiation (Confirmation or First Eucharist).

Anyone (Catholic or not) curious about the faith, with no commitment required.

We also support those navigating unique situations, such as Catholics who haven’t received Confession, were married outside the Church without a
dispensation, or wish to learn more about their faith.

Meeting Details

When: Meetings take place at 6:30 pm on Thursday evenings starting May 28.

What: A personalized journey tailored to your needs, guided by the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

Where: St. Mary Church, Upper Level, in the St. Therese Room.
