SUMMARY:St. Vincent de Paul Society Meetings (Wednesdays)
DESCRIPTION:The SVDP provides assistance to those in the community in need by helping with rent and utility payments\, store vouchers\, furniture\, gift cards\, and sometimes budget planning – any form of help that alleviates suffering or deprivation and promotes human dignity. Our conference meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month (6:30-8 pm). Anyone over the age of 18 years is welcome. Vincentian members provide home visits to gather information for specific requests\, which are then discussed at meetings. Some training (about 6 hours) may be required. Volunteers are needed for home visits\, officer positions\, and special community projects such as the SVDP Truck Collection and the Giving Tree Program. \nContact: Ann Konop\, akonop@wi.rr.com \nLocation: St. Mary Parish Office Building – St. Elizabeth Conference Room on the Second Wednesday of each month \n  \n
